What is Climate Anxiety

Climate Aware Therapy offers a space to explore your feelings and concerns about climate change, human-caused environmental destruction, social justice, and related global challenges. It includes processing difficult emotions related to the climate, including grief, anxiety, betrayal, guilt, dread, trauma, and other forms of distress.

It can be a relief to have a place to talk openly about these feelings, especially when they are not acknowledged or shared in everyday lifeYour experience matters and you are welcome to bring all of it into our work together. Sometimes it can be helpful to connect to nature, the land, and beauty during therapy. So at times therapy can take place out of doors. We can walk outside and pay attention to the beauty of nature that is still present. This kind of experience can be grounding, renewing, and supportive of emotional healing, helping you reconnect not only with nature, but also with yourself.
